Maple burl entry tables for Denver condominium common area.
Walnut meeting table 12' x 5' for condominium common area in Denver.
We made six of these tables for the various waiting areas at a large accounting firm in the Denver Tech Center.
These work stations as well as a matching conference table were designed by Semple Brown here in Denver for Mile Hi Modern realty group. We matched colors on the wood as well as the steel.
Mori Furniture Design, launched as an in house design spin off from Walnut Street Woodworks in 2004, was a line of George Nakashima inspired pieces. Most pieces include some sort of solid slab element, with hand rubbed finishes. While solid slab pieces are still part of the overall work, in the new Missoula, MT. studio, I now focus mainly on mid century modern casework. Current pieces can be viewed on the Available page and in the Spruce St. Studio at 500 E. Spruce St.

This ten foot long cherry bench has a hand sanded top which leaves it slightly rounded, rather than flat, making for a comfortable seat.

For many years now, Mori Furniture Design has been providing high end design/build services to our clients that specialize in corporate work. Conference room tables, credenzas, and other pieces are now a large part of our portfolio.
17' long x 4' wide x 29"h. Made from 4 Solid Claro Walnut Slabs w/ 4 pop up claro walnut data ports & sitting atop 3 Walnut Veneered Pedistals.
This Eight Foot diam. Conference Table is clad in white color core laminate creating the feel of a thick solid material. It includes a shared data port at the center of the top.
This 21' long x 5' wide table is made from 6 solid claro walnut slabs and supported by 4 veneered walnut pedestals. The credenza has a solid claro top w/ claro veneered doors.
Bookmatched claro walnut veneer creates the beautiful look of the credenza's face while the top is a solid slab of Claro Walnut to match the conference Table.

This 12' x 3' x 29"h. Claro Walnut Slab Table graces the Iliff School of Theology Common Room. The base is 3 steel pedestals with a lacquer clear coat.
First Western Trust Bank, a private Denver banking firm, commissioned this small private conference room. Custom book matched maple & anigre veneers make up this conference table and wall unit.
This detail shows the First Western Trust bank logo which we inlaid into the cross banding at 24 intervals around the conference table.
12' x 5' Walnut top w/ Steel base for community room
This 12' x 4' conference table and two 12' long benches were fabricated from walnut taken from a walnut tree in Wash Park in August of 2015.
For Royal Gold, a gold mining company based in downtown Denver Colorado. A 21' x 8' conference room table made in four large top sections, with four diamond shaped bases, and data ports built into the apron throughout
For a large accounting firm in the Denver Tech center,
a 20' x 6' conference room table made from solid redwood.
The conference table for Brinkman construction completed in July of 2018 is fabricated from four large black walnut slabs and finishes out at 18’ x 5’. The data ports are customized in solid black walnut to blend into the top.
Since 1993 I have taken on just about every custom furniture project that has come my way, and while I am downsizing and focusing more on free standing furniture, I am still doing plenty of built in pieces when they are a good fit.
This pine log was cut into 3 sections and stepped back & out to create this elegant mantel for a 4 Seasons residence.
A simple but elegant maple desk for a client that came through Ekman Design. Delivered in 3 pieces & assembled on site.
This family room media wall unit was fabricated using African wenge for the base cabinets and cherry for the countertops. The art piece is Claro walnut wrapped by a red oak lamination.

Our client had chairs in their bedroom with an arm detail which they wanted to integrate into their headboard.
King bed w/ TV lift in the foot board. The back side of the l;are headboard houses (12) drawers.
Based on the Mali Server design, this nightstand is an elegant little number. The headboard is 118" long for a king bed.
I have done many beautiful pieces for purchasing companies over the years. Accent pieces, signature built ins, and reception areas.

Beautiful entry tables for the Gables Cherry Creek
With the rapid growth in apartment and condominium construction in the Missoula area I saw an opportunity to create a higher end Murphy bed than I was seeing out in the local market place. With my veneering ability, I am able to make up a front panel in any custom matched veneer. The multi spring system I use is , I believe, the best on the market, so my beds just float open & closed. Never being too heavy to gently let out, and never snapping closed.
